Keith is a long-time resident of Regina, Saskatchewan. He excelled in art all through his
school years. Under the tutorship of John Miller, he assisted in the creation of the mosaic glass mural at the entrance to the Regina Court House. Following this, his creativity was limited to a lengthy career in cartography with Saskatchewan Municipal Affairs. Since retiring from government service, Keith has resumed creating works of art. He joined the Guild in 2000 and has become a multi-ribbon winner of SaskArt, Regina Exhibition Association Limited. Keith is basically a self-taught artist, although since joining the guild he enjoys learning from fellow members. He says, "The challenge I face is to overcome exactness instilled in me during thirty-two years as a cartographer. My goal is to develop a looser style of art." Saskatchewan scenery is Keith's main source of inspiration but he has tackled still life, and portraiture. He works in pencil, pastels, acrylics, inks and watercolours.
