Heather Wiebe

Heather is a Regina artist who was born and raised in Moosomin, Saskatchewan. She attended the University of Saskatchewan. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Home Economics, majoring in Housing and Interior Design and a Bachelor of Education. Since retiring from a rewarding career in education Heather has turned her attention to traveling and painting. The natural beauty that surrounds us in daily life continually inspires Heather. Inspiration for her artwork also comes from the many photographs she has taken while traveling throughout the world. Heather works in the media of india ink, watercolour and acrylic. She has taken a number of art workshops from local and internationally known artists. Heather became a member of the Prairie Artists guild in 2008. She is also a member of the Art Gallery of Regina.
